    Hello Dears,

Do we have any recommendations for the number of Client PC's that could be supported per AirWave Server? For both (AW-HW-PRO) & (AW-HW-ENT).

    Thanks.

You can use the Airwave Server Sizing calculator on Aruba Solution Exchange (https://ase.arubanetworks.com/solutions/id/77) to determine the recommended specifications for a number of clients; then check that against the specifications for the AW-HW-PRO and AW-HW-ENT (specification on that same solution page).

For proper sizing, you need to take more into account than just the number of clients.

    Hello,

I mean actually the Client PC's (NMS Users) that will be attached to the AirWave Server, not the Clients UE's.

    Is this info available?

BTW, thanks for this link, very useful.

    Thanks.

Can you explain the background, and what order of number you are looking for? If you want to have 10s of operators logged into Airwave at the same time it is probably not an issue to consider. If you want to have 10,000 admins logged in, it probably is... I personally have not heard customers running into problems that had too many admins logged into Airwave.

How are you deploying that this might be an issue??

We'll have 1 "AW-HW-ENT" Server, located at the Operator NMS @ the Core Network.

Client PC's will be connected to the AirWave Server, each Client PC may have 2~5 Users.

Some other vendors have limitation on the number of Client PC's connected to the NMS main Server (Not the number of Admin/User Accounts), do we have similar case here?

Another query please, how can a remote Client PC reach the main AirWave Server? Is tis via HTTP for example? Then will be directed to a Webpage to enter Username/Password?

    Thanks.

Airwave has a WebUI interface (HTTPS). Administrators that want to login to Airwave use their browser, and get presented a login window where they can enter their credentials. Credentials can be validated local on the Airwave server, or be forwarded to RADIUS, TACACS or LDAP.

I'm not aware of any (impractical) limits in concurrent Airwave users. In most deployment, there are typically may be a handful of Airwave users logged in concurrently. What is the number you are looking for? How many concurrent Airwave users do you expect?

You can see a video of 'Airwave in action' on the Airwave product page: http://www.arubanetworks.com/products/networking/management/
