I am project manager for replacing and installing new wireless access points and wireless controllers.
What I need to understand is how are the access point physicially installed to a ceiling (with a grid)?
What comes with the access point is two adapters for ceiling rails 9/16" or 5/16" EDIT: 15/16" in width that allows the AP to SNAP onto the rail. You will probably have to cut a small hole in the ceiling tile to accomodate the ethernet run:

There is an optional kit, AP-220-MNT-C2, for "Silhouette" or "Interlude" ceiling tiles that can be purchased separately: https://support.arubanetworks.com/Documentation/tabid/77/DMXModule/512/Command/Core_Download/Default.aspx?EntryId=11535
The buying guide here: http://www.arubanetworks.com/assets/og/OG_AP-220.pdf details all of the mounting options and the documentation here: https://support.arubanetworks.com/Documentation/tabid/77/DMXModule/512/EntryId/11533/Default.aspx has more details on those options.
