I am having issues getting my Aruba 6000 controller to work with Cisco ACS 4.1. We are actually stigging the device and we disabled local authentication on the Aruba controller. When we try to connect to the Aruba controller via SSH, we receive an authentication error of bad password. We have AAA setup properly and we know we are using the proper credentials. I am a noob at this, so please forgive me if I have not supplied enough information. Please reply and I will be happy to provide any information you need.

    Thanks in advance!

    John,

Do we see the authentication request hit the ACS server ? Are we using attribute and what protocol we are using pap/mschapv2?

Make sure user belongs to right access policy and group on the ACS server.

    Thank you.
