Captive Portal Login Page

    Hi,

     

    I have a web login setup in Clearpass that I am attempting to point a Mobility Controller captive portal authentication profile to.

     

    When I connect to the network and open a browser I get redirected to the following login URL - https://172.16.10.71/guest/captiveportal.php?cmd=login&mac=b4:ae:2b:d2:84:e2&ip=172.16.10.151&essid=clearpass&apname=shaunlabap&apgroup=apg-shaungroup1&url=http%3A%2F%2F172%2E16%2E10%2E31%2F

     

    Is there anyway I can stop it from adding to the URL - I just want it to redirect to the https://172.16.10.71/guest/captiveportal.php login page set within the captive portal profile.

     

    Or this this normal behaviour and I'm missing something?

    No, it's required for some functions. Also, you should use an FQDN instead of an IP address.
