ClearPass and certificates

    i am wondering if the ClearPass can act a certificate authority, not sure if that is the correct name, I mean is there a way to have to ClearPass generate certificates for clients and check these? or is this a task for a other application such as Microsoft AD?

     

    i only found a way to upload a server certificate which is to validate the ClearPass to the radius / web auth clients i assume?

    ClearPass Guest (Formerly Amigopod) can act as a CA. ClearPass Policy Manager cannot

    thank you, that is clear. currently ClearPass Guest (Formerly Amigopod) is a different virtual appliance right? or can I just add another license key on the ClearPass Policy Manager?

    correct, they are currently separate appliances with separate licenses.
