Hello everyone:

I'm trying to figure out if what we're looking to do is possible.  Currently we are using clearpass guest with corporate sponsorship.  We are looking to simplify this process.

What we are looking to do is have a simple page with Email address and password.  We would like to have a quarterly shared password that would be given to the guest from an employee.  They would then use their email address and the supplied password to get onto the network.

Is this possible?  If so, any idea how?

No, not really. The password is tied to the guest account (email address).

Ok I thought that might be the case.

Is there a way to require a password or code of some sort before allowing self sponsorship?

We'd like to have some kind of minor control on guest creation.

Any thoughts/problems with doing something like this?  a custom field with a validator?
