Combining Enable If and Validation

    Is it possible to combine Enable If and Validation on fields in Guest? I can happily have the field visible based on other fields, but if that field is enabled (by default) but not visible, when validation input is required, it fails on submission because no data has been added to the not visible field.

     

    Example, dropdown field selection has two options, mobile and email. If you select mobile, the visitor_phone field is displayed requiring nwaSMSisvalid... validation etc...

    Have you tried setting an initial value in there (that might pass validation) if it isn't visible upon the submittal of the form?

    That will work, but it is not ideal as the customer wants the visitor_phone field in the guest account list view.
