Does the IAP-225 support 802.1X as a supplicant?

I'm looking to securely connect an AP in a client office to our network. I know I can use 802.1X to secure the wireless clients to the Instant AP; can I secure the Instant AP back to the switch? The closest answer I could find was an Airheads post that said APs do support 802.1X as a supplicant, but seemed to be talking about APs configured by a controller, rather than InstantAPs. Can someone shed some light for me?

Currently it is controller only. I believe it's on the roadmap for Instant.

    Thanks,

If you need this feature, please let your Aruba SE add your company to the RFE 2716. That RFE number tracks the 802.1x uplink feature for Aruba Instant.
