Was curious if anyone knows how to delete a fingerprint definition, more specifically 'PXE'. We use PXE to image laptops, and as part of that process, the new device gets fingerprinted as a category of PXE. When that same machine is added to the domain and put on the network it is fingerprinted again as Windows 7. ClearPass then classifies the device as conflict=true because it's received 2 attributes from the same device. After working with TAC it has been suggested I could remove the PXE defintion by exporting, making the change, then importing. However within the fingerprint dictionary there are zero options to make any changes to that database. Is there another place to do this?
