Has anybody here successfully setup email alerts in ClearPass 6.1?

From what i can see across two separate clients, i'm unable to get ClearPass to send email notifications out when the servers are clustered.

I have setup the messaging server address details and also set the cluster wide parameters to notify my address. to test i have set the notification to INFO to ensure a trap is generated and then i login and logout.

Still nothing happens.

I've also done a packet capture on the ClearPass Publisher and can see no traffic to the SMTP server defined in the messaging server settings.

Any ideas?

Are you trying to do alerts in insight or the standard CPPM?

at this stage just the system alerts from CPPM.

I dont have a 6.1 to test on. I know that it has worked in my lab since 5.2. I would just double check the setting. 

I did a quick test on my lab 6.2.2

You will see an event in the event viewer if the email was sent.

I have a test account with gmail that I use along with my own exchange.
