Hi All,

I'm attempting to change the Account Expiry setting on a guest account (on a customers amigopod) to "Account will not expire". When I attempt to update this setting the account expiration time is set to 1 month in the future.

I have updated clearpass guest OS and plugins and the issue still occurs.

Anyone point me in the right direction? Is there a max account lifetime setting that I'm missing somewhere?

This was due to an Eval license.... You can't set an account to expire after the date that the eval license expires.

Glad you worked out what was happening.  FYI here are the restrictions of our 2 types of evaluation licenses that we offer.  You can always work with the account team for any special requests but hopefully with these 2 licenses we can cover most POC and evaluation requirements

10k License

By special request a larger license can be issued.

• 10,000 active sessions
• 90 day max account expiration
• 25 roles
• 100 NAS devices
• 10,000 user accounts
• 50,000 provisioned devices
• Onboard / MDPS IS enabled
• Advertising IS enabled

I am now working on Clearpass guest (eval) as well.

May I know the max account expiration for Production license? Do all production license share same max account expiration?

You can set accounts to never expire if you wish.
