Has anyone had issues with the Sony Xperia connecting to Aruba? It's a model ST27i running Android 2.3.7. The phone's wifi connection oops from obtaining an IP address to disconnected.

I've tested on another open network running Linksys hardware and it connects fine.

We use model 105 access points with an Controller running ArubaOS 6.4. We use WPA2 AES encryption on one SSID and an open network on another guest SSID.

MMALamont, did you enable user debug for that client to see what could be going on?

That is also an old version of Android.  Is it capable of being upgraded?

    Hi

I had the same problem with my Sony Xperia U. Tried about 5 devices all had the same issue.

It will connect if the security is set to WEP but keeps throwing out when set to WPA2.

Upgraded the device to Android 4. It works fine now.
