    Hello,

I am using SNMP v2c between the controller and an NMS. How can I restrict SNMP access from other other unwanted users, besides using the community string? Is there a way to apply an access list to SNMP messages, like in a Cisco switch?

    AOS version 5.0.4.0

    Thanks

You cannot apply an access list to SNMP, but you have the option of using SNMPv3 or putting an access list on your controller uplink that only permits SNMP traffic from certain subnets.
