    Bart,

Please check the ClearPass Service Routing Technote, available from the support website:

    http://support.arubanetworks.com/Documentation/tabid/77/DMXModule/512/EntryId/7961/Default.aspx

(Document: CPPM Service Routing TechNote - V3)

That describes that cluster services use the data interface for routing by default, unless the nodes are in the same management network (directly connected), or you specify management routes (CLI) for cluster traffic.

ok, thanks, so synchronisation traffic just follows the normal routing rules?

makes sense if it does, was a little too focused on my situation with management interfaces in the same subnet.
