    Hi All--

     

    An Aruba newbie here. Does anyone know how to reset the admin password on a 2500 Access Switch with 7.1.2 OS?

     

    I have tried the steps below to no avail:

     

    (host)

    User:

    password

    Password:

    forgetme!

    (host) >

    enable

    Password:

    enable

    (host) #

    configure terminal

    Enter Configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z

    (host) (config) #

    mgmt-user admin root

    Password:

    ******

    Re-Type password:

    ******

    (host) (config) #

    exit

    (host) #

    exit

    (host) >exit

    Figured it out....the switch was stacked at some point....I had to reconnect it to the stack and controll it from the stack commander.
