DHCP-server raw option 60 - 2930M

    Hi, 

     

    DHCP-server is running on a 2930M using WC.16.04.0008.

     

    When I try to put "option 60 ascii ArubaAP" in the dhcp pool, I get this error:

    "DHCP-Server does not allow raw option"

     

    How do I get this resolved?

    Hi Joey, 

     

    Option 60 is not currently supported in the DHCP server feature of ArubaOS-Switch.  

     

    Product management is currently investigating with the lab adding in option 60 in ArubaOS-Switch.

     

    In order to use ZTP, you'd need to use a Linux or Windows-based DHCP server.

    DHCP server raw Option 60 is supported now in16.06.

    [no] option 60 {ascii <ascii-string>|hex <hex-string>|ip <IPADDR-STR>[IP-ADDR2d… IP-ADDR8]}

    Firmware 16.07.0002 is now supported option 60 already :)
