Port 1/2 and 1/3 will not be seen on following commands:
# show port status
# show port stats
before they are removed from stacking.
Port lights start blinking but the link will not come up.
These ports are used for automatic stacking with other Aruba mobility switches.
By default ports 1/2 and 1/3 on the switch are set up for stacking.
(ArubaS2500-24P) # show stacking interface

We can remove the stacking and use those as regular SFP ports if you want by entering the following commands.
(ArubaS3500-24-POE) #configure terminal
(ArubaS3500-24-POE) (config) #delete stacking interface stack 1/2
(ArubaS3500-24-POE) (config) #delete stacking interface stack 1/3
(ArubaS3500-24-POE) (config) #write mem
By default, port 1/2 and 1/3 are used for stacking on Aruba Mobility switches.
To use those ports as stacking ports, we need to remove stacking from those ports.
