AOS 8.1 MD controlled by AOS 8.2 MM

    HI 

     

    I'm in the process of migrating a customer from AOS 6.5 to 8.2 but realize that they hav 95xAP93. 
    so we have 3 options

    1. obviously - replace with newer APs

    2. stay on AOS 6.5

    3. Move all 7220 controllers and MM to AOS 8.2 and use 2 x  MD7030 running AOS8.1 and retain AP93 on AOS8.1 MDs

     

    but will AOS 8.1 controller be managed by MM on version 8.2? 

    i think I've read that this is ok - but haven't tested

    Yes it is possible just need to enable multiversion.

    I haven’t test with an AP 93 I recommend that you point one of your spare/test controller to the MM and test with AP93

    We might favor the option of downgrading to AOS8.1 - I'll check the release notes
