    Good morning to everyone,

I am encountering a strange behaviour with two deployements I just made.

First I deployed a brand new virtual appliance with AOS 8.2.0.2, I configured it with evaluation licences (demo purpose).

After that, I tried to create a WLAN profile and here is the error I receive while submitting :

% Invalid input detected at '^' marker. Error: Role 'hotspot-guest-logon' is Unknown Virtual AP profile "Hotspot" does not exist.

I am guessing I could create everything in CLI but I would prefer the GUI to work as expected. I tried multiple browser without success.

I tried to deploy an older version (8.1.0.4) but I have the exact same issue.

Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong?

    Found this topic :

    https://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Wireless-Access/Aruba-OS-8-quot-Invalid-input-detected-at-marker-quot-popup/m-p/314513

    But it did not helped.

    Thanks,

    Arnaud.

Updates : After trying to create everything with CLI I am stuck when I am supposed to create the user-role.

The command is not recognized despite seeing it eing used while doing a show run.

I do not know what to do with this. :)

It appears, I had not selected the PEF licences after installation.

    Sorry for inconvenience.

    Yes, it requires PEF license.
