AP 205 Mounting kit - is the rear flat?

    Does anybody know (a picture would be even cooler) whether the rear of the AP-220-MNT-W1 kit is completely flat?

    I'd like to install one on the ceiling at home but our landlord doesn't like the idea of screws so was thinking velcro of some description (its only an AP205). Would only really work if there is a flat surface big enough :)

    The bottom is flat, but there's not a lot of surface area to stick the velcro to, it's cross-structural to be light. It would be better to mill or make a thin flat plate that attaches to the mount at the appropriate mount points, and then attach the velcro to that.
