    Hi All

I have noticed that within our Aruba deployment (not configured by me) we have an AP group for external APs and the ARM profile assignment is set to "disable", looking at the radio profile there is no channel set and the regulatory domain profile is default, there is also no AP specific configuration. My question is, in this situation how is the channel assignment done, do the APs simply pick a channel when they boot and stick to it?

    Thanks in advance

    Dave

And the transmit eirp will also be taken from the radio profile.

The transmit EIRP is set quite high so all access points are currently at their maximum. I'm trying to work out if there is a good reason for this configuration, and if not I will create a new appropriate ARM profile and let ARM do it's thing.

For a single access point, maybe. For multiple access points, no.
