I had one of the techs bring me a AP125abg out of our collection. Not sure where it came from.

    What the heck is this?

I do notice that is the wlan leds are amber instead of green.

Is this a pre N access point. Are these upgradeable to N?

This is an AP-125; however, it was out when .11n what being finalized.  It was sold as abg only with the ability to enable 802.11n with a SW license that is loaded on the controller.  It was also sold as a full 802.11n AP.  With the license the AP-125abg will function exactly the same as the regular AP-125.  The license is tied to the controller and not the AP.

Contact your Aruba Sales Rep for a license. The part# is LIC- <qty> -AP125.  There is no charge.
