About new licenses

    Hi,

     

    I have a client that has this scenario regarding licenses:

     

    6000-M3

     

    LIC-128-AP

    LIC-PEFNG-128

    LIC-RFP-128

     

     

    Now, they want to buy more 128 APs and licenses. What will happen if they only buy the LIC-128-AP ? The controller will block some resource when provisioning new APs? What will happen with Firewall and IPS when the new APs are provisioned?

     

    This is only a curiosity that was questioned to me and I do not know the answer.

    The controller uses the lowest license count. Anything over 128 will be
    stuck in the unlicensed state.
