Aruba Wireless Controller and Alcatel-Lucent Wireless Controller

    Hello all,

     

    is Aruba and Alcatel Lucent wireless controllers and APs are the same in term of IOS, commands and configuration ? (is there any official reference for this issue?)

     

    Is people using Alcatel Lucent controllers need to access aruba support website to download new IOS updates and releases ?

    Alcatel customers access Alcatel Support resources, not Aruba's directly.

     

    They will have different/branded/Alcatel Tested versions of the ArubaOS posted there.

    I see, but in term of configuration people able to configure ARUBA controller can configure Alcatel-Lucent controller, is not it ?

     

    Alcatel will test the IOS but they will not have their own developed IOS version with different command and operation ?

     

    My concern is about the ability to configure the alcatel controllers.

    The commands are indeed the same.
