Not that it's cost effective, but if you have to deploy an AP inside the room, use the AP-275 and remove the plastic solar shield (not required but the shield could protect areas that could lead to bacteria and other pathogens to remain). It's IP66/67 rated and can sustain exposure to water, spray wash, etc. It can be mounted up higher and yet still survive exposure to the regular cleanings and decontamination. The 275 also supports conduit directly into the ethernet port, which would allow the protection of the ethernet from said cables, and provide greater prevention for any contaminants to be left behind after cleaning.
Just a thought. While the 275 is a bit more expensive (for a reason), the cost of a 275 is a drop in the bucket compared to the cost of maintaining an operating room.
