We have a 7210 that is currently using a 1gb fiber uplink on port 0.  we are bottlenecking on this point and i have a 10gb DAC cable that i want to use on port 2.  Whats the best way to move over to port 2.  i dont want to have 2 uplinks, i just want to move everything over to the new port.  Is it as easy as setting the port and a trunk and allowing all the vlans on it(and matching the rest of the config of port 0), or is there more to it then that?

It is a simple as that, but the problem is you will lose management connectivity to that device unless you have a console connection.  It needs to be done physically (move cable) with a console connection to monitor connectivity.

Awesome, thanks.  I was hoping it was that easy but was expecting to find some hidden gotchas or something in there.
