Configure static IP detials on RAP5 ?

    Hi,

     

    I'm looking to deploy a RAP5 to a small office but we are only able to obtain fixed IP addresses from the building owner providing the Internet connectivity.   I've only ever provisioned a RAP5 when it's obtainied it's IP details via DHCP.

     

    Is it possible to statically configure the IP detials on the RAP so that it can get to the Internet to build it's tunnel

     

    Note that I need to use the RAP in the traditional method, not in Instant mode.

    Yes.

     

    You need to make sure that the "Zero Touch Provisioning" image is 5.x or above.  You should see a "Static IP" tab:  http://community.arubanetworks.com/aruba/attachments/aruba/88/241/4/Figure1.jpg
