Connect aruba RAP to Instant Acces Point Controller

    Hello Community,

     

    So, my question is the Aruba RAP 303H can connect to Instant Acces Point 305 Controller? 

     

    So do I need a physical connection to connect the Remote AP to network?

    Hi,

     

    For either RAP operation or IAP-VPN, you need to terminate onto a mobility controller, not an Aruba Instant VC.

    so the connection to RAP is Wirless or Wiredd?

    Hi Javier,

     

    Both IAP 305 & 303H use the same image version. So, they can form a

    cluster.

     

    However, 303H needs minimum version 6.5.2.0.

     

    So, please ensure IAP is running atleast 6.5.2.0 Or above version. Once that is confirmed, you can add IAP 303H in to the same cluster & it should work fine.
