    Hi,

     

    I have a Master local-local setup where the AP's resolve the controller IP address via DNS. Currently the DNS record for aruba-master is set to the Master's IP address. AP's are located in a different Layer 3 network than the controllers.

    The issue I have is that when AP's come online they only seem to assosiate with the Master and never with either of the two local controllers. The switch IP listed in 'show ap database' is always the Master IP address, and the AP's never show up on the local controllers.

    Firstly is setting the DNS address to be the master IP the correct thing in a master local-local setup?

    Secondly should the master be automatically shifting AP's onto the local controllers when the initally connect?

    How's your AP-GROUP>AP SYSTEM PROFILE configured ?

    Are you using HA/Fast Failover ?
