DDNS and AP Hostname

We recently moved to dynamicly update our forward and reverse DNS through DHCP option 81, and I noticed that the AP's are reporting their hostnames as the name of the AP in the wireless LAN controller. This is not really a problem, except that the names were put into the controllers using verbose names that include spaces, slashes, and other characters not allowed in DNS entries.

I wondered if you, noble Airheads, knew if the hostname could reside somewhere else, or if I just needed to suck it up and redo the naming convention on these APs.

    Happy Monday!

The hostname is generated from the provisioned AP name.
