Did this controller/AP combination ever work?
If not, resetting the access point requires a cable that we do not sell anymore, or the Telnet SOE method over here: http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Controller-Based-WLANs/How-do-I-SOE-into-a-switch-using-SSH/ta-p/180852
This is not simple.. You basically setup the SOE (terminal session) on the controler using the instructions, first, then plug the access point into the port specified in the command (2/0) to see if the access point is booting up and what ip address it is getting, etc. You can stop the access point by pressing enter repeatedly until you see apboot>
When you see apboot, type "erase flash" and then type "save". If it takes, you should be able to plug the access point in the same VLAN as the controller and it should discover it. There are so many ways this could go wrong, or your access point could be fried, so look forward to being patient.
