    Hi guys,

I had a transparent proxy setup and Aruba controller doing Dnat on port 80. It is working fine but just now the sys admins told me that aparently the reporting in the proxy is not working correctly , as they see all requests coming from the same IP ( Aruba controller)

    Is this the normal behaviour?

    If so,

Is there any other way i can set this UP and at the same time provide the reporting capabilities they look for?

    That is normal behavior, yes.

You probably will not get them to log traffic like they need to.  The Dnat will only show the Aruba controller as the source.

The proxy would have to be in the path of the user....

DNAT by itself should not do this (in my experience); I just tested it in my lab as well.     Are you sure you are not doing dual-nat; or is src-nat enabled on the entire VLAN?
