    Hello,

Does anyone know if Client-state sync work with captive-portal authenticated users?

In the following post, it is stated that it works for 802.1X authenticated users but nothing is mentionning other authenticated users. (https://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Aruba-Solution-Exchange/Client-State-Sync-with-AP-Fast-Failover/ta-p/202619)

    Thank you!

    Best Regards,

    François

The client sync state feature only works for 802.1x.

What happens is that it synchronizes the OKC cache for clients to the second controller so that they can avoid the 4-way handshake upon failover. That is the extent of the client state sync feature.
