    Hello,

We have a need to downgrade a 7205 md controller from AOS 8.1.0.1 to 6.4.3 (that it was originally on). The pre-upgrade image is still available on partition 0 and the pre-upgrade config file is also on flash as default.cfg-setup-bk.

I was able to make partition 0 as default boot from the CLI, but cannot seem to set the configuration parameter to the pre-upgrade config file:

    (host) #boot config-file default.cfg-setup-bk
    ^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

Is there another way to ensure this config file is picked up when the controller reboots with partition 0 ?

Trying to do this without console access.

    Thanks

Unfortunately, there is none.  Do you have a flashbackup?

    A flashbackup is not available.

Was counting on the "boot config-file ..." command to work, as it is printed in the release notes.

    2. Set the controller to boot with your pre-upgrade configuration file. (host) # boot config-file <backup configuratin filename>

    Oh well...time to request console.

    Thanks for your response Colin.
