How do you disable NTP monlist command on AMP servers

Trying to find out how to disable the ntpd monlist command, or how to upgrade ntp to 4.2.7.

You can add the following to the /etc/ntp.conf (although I would work with TAC before you change that)

restrict default kod nomodify notrap nopeer noquery

Thanks, I found that as well.  It looks like you can also disable for IPV6 with "restrict -6 default kod nomodify notrap nopeer noquery".  I'll follow up and let you know how it works out.

To update, you can do:

# yum update ntp
