How much Radar is too much Radar?

Hi, I have a very dense client environment and have had 20Mhz DFS channels configured for several years. We used to see a lot of Radar in channels 116-128 but not in the lower channels. Recently we see Radar in all DFS channels and AP's changing channel very often. The AP below is fairly typical of some of the HD areas:

Obviously DFS is working as it should and we don't seem to lose any client devices when the channels change but how detrimental is all of this channel shifting to the WLAN as a whole?

Not using DFS is not really an option due to the very high density of users.

Please log a support ticket at the Aruba TAC. Some of the detections may be 'false positives', especially if you see them in high-density areas during heavy use only.

For the wave 2 access points, like the AP-3xx series, which are relatively new, there have been improvements recently in reducing DFS false positives. Please have TAC advise you based on the APs and versions you are running.

We are running a mix of AP225 and AP325 now so have the better AP's in most areas. I have raised with TAC.

    Hi!

Hijacking the thread for a related question, I saw a customer running AP-315 on 6.5.0.1 where all the DFS channels were basically unusable, we suspected one of the neighbouring companies but could this also be false positives related to 3xx series of access points? I the fixes you mention included in 6.5.1?

    Cheers,
