    Wanted to check  the restrictions on interface description . It appears to be 30 characters.   Also are there any restrictions on kind of characters used?

    there are no restrictions on kind of characters on Mobility Access Switches for interface description.

    The length of the description has a limit of 32 characters

    1. 33 characters
