Hello, Is pointing (seiling, wallmount, ...) an access point one way or the other affects the covered area ?

NB. I'm using IAP205 With no external antennas.

    Thanks

The 205 has a built in omni-directional antenna set, therefore if mounted on the wall understand that some of the RF will be shot upwards into the ceiling area. The typical reccomendation would be to mount it on a ceiling grid in most situations unless you have a special use case to mount it on a wall, and in most cases you would be using a 204 with an external antenna if you're mounting it on the wall.
