It is possible use DHCP fingerprint without use DHCP server?

    If my device use static IP and doesn't use the DHCP server, does the Aruba controller still able to identify the device running what type of the operating system?

    Yes.

    Dhcp fingerprinting is only used to possibly change a devices role. The browser agent is used to identify the device and that is reflected in the user table. The statically addressed device must have a browser agent to be identified....
