    Hi all

I've been investigating MSRs and have seen thay they are compatible with Airwave. However, the configuration/RF management is still not to clear to me. Do u guys know Is there any kind of virtual controller for MSR deployments? Or, on the contrary, do they have to be configured independently?

    Regards

The MSR line of Access Points / Mesh Points runs a different OS than the Aruba Thin APs do.   That OS does not report back to a controller, virtual or otherwise.

That being said, configuration can be streamlined for the MSR product line with our  Mesh Config (MC) application (available on support site...along with documentation for same)

How many MSRs are you envisioning in your deployment ?

    Hi

Thanks for the swift reply. We were thinking about an initial deployment of 15 access points.

    Thanks Samuel.

Check out the "MC" tool on the support site, I think it will help you out nicely.
