Mac's changing names after Airgroup added

  • 1.  Mac's changing names after Airgroup added

    We just enabled airgroup to help our macs reach the apple tv's we setup on our network. The problem that I am seeing now is when they move from using their network drop then to wifi and vice versa there machines think a system with their name is on the network so the sytem name changes. Did we miss a setting that could be causing this?

    There are quite a few reasons why,  independent of Airgroup:  Do a search for "mac osx duplicate machine name" and you will see quite a few of them.
