    Hi community,

I´ve a full configured 7030 Controller (all SSID, AP Goups and so on).

Now I want to add a second Controller as standby master, I know the Vlan config, port config... I must configure at the new standby/master controller.

Does the Master controller sync its config to the standby controller include all ssid ap profiles and so on?

Does it metter if the standby Contoller is an other Controller model?

    Thanks

The master will push all the config ( ALCs, Roles, SSIDs , VAPs ,RF , etc) to the standby master except :
    - VLANs
    - SMNP
    - Syslog
    - Clock
    - interfaces
    - and few more
You need to make sure that the standby master has the same or more AP capacity as the master and also be on the same level of AOS code, if you are not using centralized licensing then you need to install the licenses in the standby master
