Wireless Access

Our master controller currently shows 11 down access points.  However, upon clicking the "11", it only shows a list of two access points.  We have been chasing and correcting down access points for the last week and there has been a difference like this for awhile, even as we bring them up.

Any idea how to correct this issue?

What AOS do you have ?

Do you only see this behavior on the GUI ? or do you also see it from the CLI ? show ap database | include Down

Have you tried using another browser ?

AOS: 6.3.1.1

Just tried the CLI (we almost exclusively use the GUI) and it returns the full 11 down access points.

It appears that the AP's are all ones that we replaced during our cleanup.  The hardware was physically replaced, but for some reason the purge from the database was only partially completed?

Browser doesn't matter, all three of us are seeing the issue on three different systems and different browsers.

So, the AP's are no longer visible in the GUI - how do I purge them at the CLI?

You can run the following command:

(HOME-STANBY_MASTER-CONTROLLER) #clear gap-db ?
ap-name                 AP name
lms                     Clear all APs associated with an LMS
wired-mac               AP wired MAC address

I almost had that figured out when you replied.   :)

Thanks for the help.  I have cleared them out, except for two that we haven't physically replaced yet.  I'll get them at a later date.
