New AP225 don't show up unless I start dhcp from serial on AP?

    New AP225s connect dirrectly to a new 650 (6.3.0.1) POE ports, they power on just fine and bring up ethernet but fail to be discovered. ADP is enabled and so is DHCP but it only worked when I connected serial, started dhcp and saveenv. 

     

    Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

    ah, resolve my two mistakes. First it was failing in a new vlan I created (not sure why, I'll work backwards now it's working) and the usual n00b snare: control-plane-security. Gets me every time I setup a new controler.

    CPSEC is most commonly found issue in new deployments in my area.  Many a phone call inbound to me to ask about that one.

     

    Good news is it's quickly resolvable :)
