On the WebUI, the center window panel should list the APs that are part of that VC’s cluster. If your other IAP-207 joined the cluster, you’ll see two APs listed there.

Hi cclemmer

do you means the Access Point will list the clustering AP ?

Ok .. mine one is not showing.can i know where should i configure the clustering ?

thanks

Re: New User for IAP-207-RW. Need an Advice.

You need to ensure that both of the IAP’s are in the same broadcast domain. Auto election will not occur if the AP’s are not in the same broadcast domain.

Are they in the same subnet? Is there any fire walls blocking traffic between the IAP.

Yes they are same subnet. nope, there is no fire walls blocking traffic between the IAP.

Have you performed basic troubleshooting to confirm each IAP can reach each other?

Yep yep they can reach each others .

i just not sure is it something i missing .

because on HPE AP they got a Location to key for clustering .

but i not sure is it aruba same

Re: New User for IAP-207-RW. Need an Advice.

Hey no key as such for the Aruba IAP. Providing you have auto join enabled and the IAP are in the same broadcast domain they will find each other and automatically elect a Master. Is the trunk ports which the IAP connected on the same configuration?
