I have a wireless AAA profile that uses 802.1x and then places the user into a captive portal. Works beautifully.

I'm attempting to do the same on the wired ports of a RAP by reusing the wireless AAA profile on the wired ports. The machine successfully completes 802.1x on the wired side and is placed into the captive portal role. When a browser is opened the controller captures the http request, but the controller is responding with a null url for the CP login. Thus, the client can never authenticate.

    HTTP/1.1 302 Temporarily Moved
    Date: Thu, 19 Jan 2012 22:43:56 GMT
    Server:
    Refresh: 5
    Location: http://(null)/
    Content-Length: 0
    Connection: close
    Content-Type: text/html

    Connection to host lost.

    C:\>

Has anyone seen this before or have any suggestions?

The controller has a wildcard cert for CP login, which works fine on the wireless side.
