Possible reasons why clients are having intermittent connection even if the access point are near their office?

There could be dozens of reasons:

* interference from another WLAN

* A wIPS incorrectly identifying your client connections as rogue APs

* misconfiguration of authentication/TTL strings

* WLAN set for backwards compatibility (scaling back to 80211b will cause faster connections to drop out)

* many more!...
