    Hey all,

     

    The following command saved me a lot of grief just now, so I wanted to share it here with everyone.

     

    If you ever find yourself wanting to switch the Primary and Secondary roles for a 2-switch stack, issue the following command from CLI:

     

    (host)# system switchover

     

    Running this command will switch the two roles of the switches. It will ask you to save the config, and then it will log you out of the switch. The two roles should now be switched. It's really that easy.
