My client has Samsung SM-T230NU running Android 4.42. The Wi-Fi network is comprised of Aruba IAP 205s running FW 6.4.2.6-4.1.1.13_54918. The Samsung tablets frequently lose connection with the Arubas while other devices laptops, Apple devices do not. Any ideas what may be causing this and what the resolution may be? Thanks!
Is this an open, psk or 802.1x SSID?
What kind of access points are these?
Do you have "broadcast filter arp" enabled on your SSIDs under advanced?
Using WPA-2 personal
IAP 205s
Broadcast filter Arp is enabled
How often do they drop? Do they drop while roaming or stationary?
They drop farily frequently, both when roaming and not.
Under RF> ARM what is your maximum and minimum transmit power?
Min 18
Max Max
How many access points do you have?
-41 in total spread over 3 floors.
-There are 2 fairly close to the area where the Samsung tablets are experiencing the issues
In the GUI for those access points, you should see what the Utilization is for those APS...
Sorry. I meant the RF utilization...
RF utilization is very low. Is there anything I should be looking for? Is there anyway we can chat live about these issues? Thanks
Hi Colin, any ideas on this? Thanks
There is no facility for chat on this forum. You would typically open a case with TAC.
