    Hello Community.

    I have to test the maximum number of wireless clients supported in an IAP.

    It is not needed to load the air with traffic, only to test the max connections supported.

    One option is use 510 devices (according with the datasheet, 255 in each band).

     

    The question: is there any tool/application to generate "N" (virtual) wireless clients for use only one or few devices?

    Veriwave can, but it's VERY pricey...There may be others but they are just as pricey and synthetic. It's not something that customers or partners usually test unless they are willing to invest a large sum of money. Additionally one would never put that many clients on a single radio in practice, and we routinely test 100 client load test and publish the results.
